Easy to bake Cardamom Rose cake with Vanilla Glaze



There are a lot of people in the world who associate cake with happiness. Let’s say half of the earth’s population. So, what makes a good cake? An excellent cake is one that has been prepared according to the instructions. The cake should rise and not resemble a batter. It should be soft, fluff, and spongy. Instructions can be troublesome to follow sometimes, so here’s our take on a serene Cardamom Rose cake served with vanilla glaze.

Ingredients 

For cake:

1/2 cup butter 

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 medium eggs at room temperature

1/4 cup yoghurt or Dahi room temperature

1 tsp cardamom ground

1/2 tsp vanilla extract 

1 tbsp rose water

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup almond meal

1 tsp baking powder


For glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

1½ tbsp milk

½ tsp rose water


Instructions

Cake:


  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a cake pan and place a circle of parchment paper on the bottom. 

  • Cream the butter, sugar, eggs, and yoghurt for 1-2 minutes on medium speed using the whisk attachment of a stand mixer. This phase might also be done with an electric hand whisk. Whisk in the cardamom, vanilla, and rose water for 30 seconds at a low speed. 

  • Whisk in the flour, almond meal, and baking powder for 1 minute, starting on low and gradually increasing to medium, then high speed. If you do not have an electric whisk, you can also use our non-electric whisk

  • To mix the wet and dry components, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk to incorporate.

  •  Pour the batter into the pan that has been prepared. Press the top flat with a spatula.

  •  Bake cake for 60 minutes at 325 ° F. Test to see if it's done by inserting a skewer, toothpick, or fork into it. It must come out clean. Once done, cast off from the cake pan at once to prevent further cooking. Allow the cake to chill before reducing the top to gain a flat surface. Use our cake servers for that perfect slice.


For the glaze and decoration:


Mix collectively powdered sugar, rose water and milk. Pour the glaze cautiously over the cake. Sprinkle with dehydrated rose petals and diced pistachios (optional). Serve the sliced cake on our mango wood enamel print trays.

Rosewater can get overwhelming very quickly. Do not give the cake more rose water than the recipe says. You need to let this cardamom rose cake cool completely before you pour the glaze over it.
